The magazine asked me to photograph Thouk so that she would be difficult
to identify. Given that she lives in a small tight knit vilage this
case has damaged Thouk standing in the community. Her mother is
also concerned about the power of local aide groups and police who
come off looking ethically challenged in the article. |
